DESCRIPTION:Dr. Bruce Bendler offers a glimpse into 18th Century Middletown at his presentation\, “Building Middletown\,” which focuses on the late 1700s and early 1800s. \nDr. Bendler has a doctorate in history and is an adjunct professor of history at the University of Delaware. He has presented to the Archaeological Society of Delaware and the Middletown Historical Society on local and regional history. His current research interests focus on political history in Revolutionary and early Federal eras in Delaware and New Jersey.
