DESCRIPTION:The Garden Market Blossoms Each Spring at St. Mary Anne’s Garden Market on FRIDAY\, MAY 5 (9-6PM) and SATURDAY\, MAY 6\, 2023 (9-4PM)\n\n\n \n\n\nThey host an annual GARDEN MARKET on their beautiful and historic church campus. During this two day event\, over 50 garden-related vendors from the tri-state area sell flowers\, trees and shrubs for spring planting. Over 5\,000 visitors walk through the gates during this family friendly event.\n\n\n \n\n\nGuests are treated to an amazing array of beautiful spring flowers and plants. They also have the opportunity to shop for natural soaps\, fresh produce\, pottery\, and garden themed ornaments and statuary. The Bake Table is fresh with delicious homemade treats\, and food vendors provide a delectable selection of food including famous Maryland crab soup and pit beef sandwiches. The beautiful event is a treat for the senses!\n\n\n \n\n\nThroughout this lovely spring–rain or shine–two day event\, guests enjoy and celebrate nature\, meet their neighbors\, and enjoy free entertainment by local musicians. He has presented to the Archaeological Society of Delaware and the Middletown Historical Society on local and regional history. His current research interests focus on political history in Revolutionary and early Federal eras in Delaware and New Jersey.
