Join us as we celebrate our friends, family, and neighbors in the military with a day of great music, laughter, and fun!

10am 5k Run, 10k GoRuck, and 1 Mile Family Walk
11:30am Parade to Honor Veterans
12:30pm Music Festival (featuring dance band Patrice & The Show)

About the 5k/10k

Every day nearly 22 of our warriors succumb to the silent wounds that few of us can understand.  In response, Vet Fest was created to demonstrate our passion for supporting the military and first responder communities and especially our combat veterans.  This day is filled with music, food, laughter and community.  Proceeds from this event go directly to support Stop Soldier Suicide, Inc., a 501c3 that works 1-on-1 with troops, veterans, and military family members to help navigate the maze of services, programs, and assistance available.

Registration (Day of registration will be available for $30 per event)

• PATRIOTS 5K: $25.00 Scenic out-and-back, rolling 3.1 mile course – Receive 2 free drink tickets
• GORUCK 10K- Special division: $25.00There is NO minimum weight requirement to RUCK. It is an honor system — challenge yourself!  That being said, if you want to be eligible for the top finisher prize, you will need to adhere to these standards:
• If you are under 150 lbs, carry a 10 lb weight and if you are over 150 lbs, carry 30 lbs.
  Each participant will have a 10 or 30 lb Ruck Plate (or equivalent in non-consumable weight) in their rucksack at the start point.
• The GORUCK – Special Division course will follow the same 5K course and will split from the 5K runners at the canal.  Map coming soon. We Will Verify Weight At The Finish Line For Top Finishers. Look For The RUCK Team Near The Stage On Saturday
• MILITARY, FIRST RESPONDER, ROTC, COLOR BEARER & STUDENT: $15 (Either 5K or RUCK event- use coupon code 22in22 at checkout) -Must be former or active Military, First Responder, ROTC, wear your favorite military or first responder unit’s colors & emblem and/or carry a flag supporting our first responders, military or country, or be a current student – Receive 2 free drink tickets
• Upgrade:  Purchase a Vet Fest tee shirt and support our mission to end military suicides $20 – Receive t-shirt and an additional free drink ticket.  This option is available as an add-on to your event registration.

T-shirts will be unveiled in June.

• 07:45 Motorcycle Group Rally
• 08:00 Day of registration and bib pick-up open
• 09:00 Motorcycles depart
• 09:45 Motorcycles return
• 10:00 Opening remarks; Amazing Grace, Bagpipes; National Anthem; Pep-rally
• 10:15 5K Run & GORUCK, 1-mile Fun Walk start to honor our Military & First Responder Community
• 11:15 5k Run & GORUCK awards presentation
• 11:30 Parade, All Vets invited to March
• 12:30 Welcome to VetFest & Live Band
• 13:30 Dedication of Memorial, 22in22 Award
• 15:30 Event concludes

Awards: $500 to the first finisher of the 10K RUCK  that will be donated to the military 501c3 of the winners choice*!
