The 4th annual "Winter Lights~ Cecil Nights" is from January 6 - February 29, 2024. The town of North East, MD is proudly participating again in this campaign to support our Main Street shops and restaurants (and chamber members) during the tough winter months of January and February. Join a ranger around the campfire in Elk Neck State Park as a part of the Winter Lights, Cecil Nights festival. Meet at the Nature Center Amphitheater, located in the campground, for a night of stories and stargazing. Weather permitting, participants will be able to observe the night sky as they listen to stories about the constellations. Hot chocolate will be provided. Join in a Firepit Family Night at Turkey Point Vineyard. $30 for a group of up to 6 people. Price includes fire pit, a table, lantern, a cooking utensil, and firewood. Winter Lights Cecil Nights Parade Join in participating in the very first Elkton Alliance, Inc. - Winter Light Parade. The walking parade will begin at the back parking lot of the Cecil County Arts Council (CCAC), proceed down Main Street and double back to the CCAC.
