I am a U.S. Army Veteran, who enlisted in the Delaware Army National Guard in 1957, and served on Active Duty when my unit was activated during the Berlin Crises, and when I was released from Active Duty, I still remained in the Delaware Army National Guard until December 2000, when they let me go because I reached the age of 60. A veteran of the US Navy Seabees from 1960 thru 1966, with duty stations at Kodiak Island AK, Camp Kisner, Okinawa, and Manila Philipines, with home base at Port Hueneme CA, the main Seabees base of operations.
